Drain Blockage and Pipe Obstruction Removal

Datomic Cutting deploys the following industry leading equipment to solve your problem.  All are battery or pneumatically operated for maximum range, flexibility and performance:
  • Streicher CL50 and Streicher CL80
The CL50 and CL80 are state of the art ‘climbing robots’ that enable us to cut at elevated locations and negotiate difficult bends (including 90 degrees) making previously inaccessible obstructions accessible. These units can cut in pipework from 75mm up to 225mm and can remove a wide range of obstructions including metal bars, roots, failed liners and cementitious obstructions.
  • Prokasro 1.7 and Prokasro 4.0
The 1.7 and the 4.0 are battery operated and both come equipped with a 4th axis to allow full cutting range in up to 110 metres of pipework from a single access. Designed for larger diameter drainage, these units can work in pipework from 150mm up to 800mm and have the capacity to wrok within egg culverts where most equipment would struggle. Perfect for the re-opening of lateral connections, removal of protruding connections and a variety of other obstructions.  We have also invested in a portable cutting unit so we can operate our cutter in area where vehicular access is limited.
All our units are equipped with the latest LED pan and tilt camera heads, providing a clear view of the obstruction and allowing us to devise the best solution to meet your needs.

Concrete Removal from Drains and Drain Clearance

Datomic have been involved in a range of jobs where slurry, cement or concrete entered the drainage system during the construction process. This can cause major issues when trying to hand over a new build project.
Wooden fencing stoops, toys, cabling and other discarded objects can prove expensive to remove when you need to dig down/excavate. Our cutting equipment can employ a variety of cutting heads (grinding, milling, diamond impregnated) to break up the objects into manageable pieces before removing them the system. Flexibility and adaptability are key.
